Over the last weekend I had some time to do some fun creature sketching and wanted to share them with you today. Hope you enjoy!
Recently I´ve been designing some race frogs for story idea. Meet Lily, Spike and Dash, three professional racers and good friends, who will have their friendship tested by a tragic accident on the race track.
Hi guys, I wanted to share a recent illustration and concept art with you. This is the Serpent! The final boss for a game project. This fallen spirit creature likes to consume souls, and when he does he will grow a new tail based on the soul he has consumed, leaving him eternal bound to some pretty evil ladies. I hope you enjoy the illustration as well as the concept art.
So I went through my files yesterday looking for something and stumbled over an old sketch. Kinda felt inspired so I decided to give it a bit of a makeover and share it. Hope you like it!
At the edge of a small town in a deep dark forest are the three farms owned by three very different Families. The first one is almost abandoned, since no one wanted to take on the family business of growing crops. The only one left is old Ms. Meier who due to her age can barely keep the farm running and has a serious love for cats. The second one is owned by the Bricks Brothers who think everything bigger is better and treat everything on the farm with this principal in mind. And the third one houses a…
Today I want to share some concept art we created as part of a fun team assignment at Syn Studio Montreal. Everyone of us had to work on a mech of one of four cryptids that needed to be created with the same restrictions in mind. My cryptid was the Kraken ;) Below the final concept art as well as some original scribbles from my sketchbook.
I have always found the idea strange that the northern water horse aka kelpie is supposed to look like an actual horse. Everyone who has crossed a river on horseback knows they can swim but they aren´t the best swimmers in the world and horses hate walking through muddy areas where their thin legs sink deep into the ground. I like the idea of him being a real aquatic predator, webbing between his clawed hands and feet, covered with scales and using his strong fish like tale to propel himself through the water like a crocodile in search for prey….
Today I want to share my newest illustration Griffin Mom with you. Remember if you ever find a huge nest with big blue eggs, don´t just walk up on it. Momy might be just around the corner. ;) Hope you like it! Below I added some steps for you, so you can take a closer look at my work in progress.
Time to Head South – Creature Concept
Just did another speed painting. This one was solely about the colors. :)
So here is the finished artwork, hope you like it! :) I have decided to go without the two horsemen because I wanted the artwork to be emptier and put focused on the complete silence of the moment when this creeping creature actually takes shape out of the dense fog just to vanish into it moments later without making any sound.
Speed Painting – Creeping Fog
This is a fountain design I did while working with Imagination First on a theme park project.
Aaaaaand …. done, I wrote my last test today! ;) … which means time to show you some artworks I have done for one of my university classes.
